VIEH [ the creative team-builder ]

A creative/strategic thinker who dreams big and earns the respect of all those around them. Won’t suit every environment but thrives if surrounded by strong operators and completer/finishers.

Specific Strengths

The VIEH wants nothing more than to create an environment where people can be the best they can be.

A quiet but powerful thinker who builds the respect and trust of all those around them.

Credible, reliable and unassuming but capable of creating magic.

Communication Style

Naturally introverted, the VIEH chooses their moments carefully when addressing large audiences and has to be well prepared but is very comfortable with one to one communication.

They have an authenticity that’s highly reassuring but they have a preference to work and think alone.

Management Style

They are eager to please and focused on creating a strong and sustainable culture.

The VIEH is always thinking about the bigger picture, so makes decisions with the long-term in mind.

Direct reports get a lot of freedom but that can disappear if trust is broken.

Watch-outs

Your high levels of empathy and consideration can result in slow decision-making and your lack of follow-through can sometimes frustrate, which is why you need to be paired up with good operators.

Your need to people please and a more introverted style may result in avoiding conflicts or tackling issues head on.

You might also find a long to-do list quite daunting.

Areas for Development

Procrastination is your kryptonite! Thinking things through for too long and too deeply can result in others seeing you as a poor decision maker. Develop your decision making and critical thinking skills by learning different methods, putting them into practice and then use the one that suits you best.

Being slightly more introverted with an empowering and harmonious management style, can result in you avoiding conflict or not dealing with issues as soon as they arise. This can also cause others to be frustrated. Take more control, be assertive in dealing with issues and problems as soon as they arise. You will gain more respect from your team, and they will have faith that any problems will get dealt with swiftly.
