We asked Pippa Glucklich about being The Popular Powerhouse

Pippa, your Conker Inside results gave you a profile of The Popular Powerhouse. How much did you see yourself in there?

Yes indeed - scarily so in fact! The only area which didn’t quite fit for me is ‘avoids conflict at all costs’ - I am generally pretty comfortable with conflict - which has been helpful having spent much of my career in entrepreneurial / owner managed businesses with strong personalities!

Of all the attributes, which is the one that’s given you the most challenges across your career?

The need for speed, being in a hurry - not only can it be exhausting, it can sometimes translate into being far too impatient.

And which would you consider to be your superpower?

I find that quite tricky to answer as I don't really think I have any superpowers! But I guess I do have a lot of energy and love learning.

What one piece of advice would you offer to other Popular Powerhouses?

Take time to read ‘In praise of slow’ by Carl Honore. It’s a great read for anyone in today’s fast paced and hectic world but particularly so for us PECHs!
