Lindsey Cook:
Biography

Lindsey is an experienced media leader who was pivotal in growing the largest media trading & commercial team outside of London recognising the diverse talent that resides outside of London.

Lindsey joined Dentsu (previously MediaVest), in 1995 as a Media Executive from TMD.  In her early years she worked across several large performance driven clients; Littlewoods, Yorkshire Bank, Airtours & JD Williams, ultimately leading to a promotion to Managing Director in 2010.  In this role she was responsible for launching Dentsu’s trading division, Amplifi, across the North.

During her time as Managing Director, Lindsey was responsible for consolidating media trading for Dentsu’s northern operation which included offices in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, and Edinburgh.   A key focus was recognising the immense talent within the regions resulting in launching, growing, and developing centres of excellence across commercial trading, broadcast, digital, programmatic, audio and publishing, a first for a UK Network Agency Group.

A further investment in talent, alongside increased client appetite for accessing media owner content in an alternative way, saw Lindsey launch Dentsu’s content & partnership business ‘The Storylab’ in Manchester, where the team secured some of the UK largest content partnerships resulting in award winning work for Halfords and Thomas Cook.
